For the first time in The fifteen-year history of Cables and Simms s.r.o. possible unfair practices of one customer. His name is : Kal Korff.
I repeat for the benefit of newbie Korffers: (i) He secured himself a freelance position at the charity of a widely-loved and respected campaigner for the disabled, teaching the charitu's employees English once a week; (ii) he used the good name of that campaigner to fraudulently acquire apple mac products (telling the mac store to bill the said campaigner's charity); (iii) he then used his crappy English-language "teaching" column in a crappy free daily newspaper to advertise that he had said products for cash-only sale at a discount on the normal retail price, and (iv) he filmed his encounters with prospective buyers (on the street, in a cafe, etc.) and posted those meetings (wherein he would give his dupes a demonstration of his wares) on YouTube.
It was at this point that my indignation about Kal's daily newspaper column (I was at that time teaching English myself, and my pupils would often query my instructions, telling me that "Kal says that ...) to sheer, molten loathing and contempt.
After that, I kept a closer eye on the creep. Reports would now and them come in about, for example, his being hired by a single mother (on the basis of his newspaper column) to give private lessons to her teenage daughter. The daughter quickly complained to her mother that Karlton's behaviour was, let's say, not that of an disinterested professional.
Then there was the time that he trashed his one-room apartment and did a moonlight flit, owing a couple months' rent.
Eventually he skipped town to India, claiming - in a YouTube video that he filmed in front of a memorial to anti-communists executed by the old regime (thereby aligning himself with those brave souls) - that there was a contract out on his life.
This creature is not simply an illiterate buffoon. He is evil.

korff's book covers are amateurish and overly busy, like he whipped it up in half an hour or so with no involvement of anyone else. it does not look serious or appealing. it looks like a computer graphic rather than a book cover (if the shit even gets printed?)
while equally full of shit, elizondo's book cover appears to be an actual book published by a publisher. it looks far more professional, less convinced of its own hilarity, and the involvement of an editor is apparent: it wasn't just slapped together in an adderall haze of self involvement by some reak with an ax to grind.
elizondo's, while completely full of shit, can be found in bookstores. kalvin's exists only online and five more books, or series of books, are due out as soon as he gets his adderall refilled
